Meet Our Dietitians

Lindsay Gillon, RDN, CDN, CDCES

​

Lindsay is a Registered Dietitian-Nutritionist and Certified Diabetes Care and Education Specialist with over 10 years of experience, and the owner of Lifestyle Nutrition WNY.  She was born and raised in Western NY and when she isn't working you can usually find her at home with her husband Adam, son Liam, and Weimaraners Zoey and Vera.

Lindsay graduated from Buffalo State College with a degree in Dietetics and Nutrition, where she also completed her supervised practice hours.  She has since earned the title of Certified Diabetes Care and Education Specialist and her Certificate of Training in Weight Management through the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics.

 

Lindsay takes a non-diet approach with her patients and works with them to make healthy changes that fit their preferences, lifestyle and personal health goals.   

 

She has expertise in Diabetes/ Pre-diabetes, Weight management and Women's health (including PCOS, infertility, pre/postnatal nutrition, and perimenopause).  After struggling with infertility herself for years, she has a special interest in working with others who are trying to conceive, pregnant, or newly navigating parenthood!

Lindsay currently sees patients out of our Niagara Falls and Williamsville locations, or through telehealth.

Melissa Verdi, MS, RDN, CDN, CDCES

 

Melissa was born and raised in the Western New York area. She earned her degree in Exercise and Nutrition Sciences from the University at Buffalo, where she also completed her supervised practice hours. She earned her Registered Dietitian Nutritionist credential in 2008 and became a Certified Diabetes Care and Education Specialist in 2016.


Melissa started her career as a Clinical Dietitian before moving on to nutrition counseling for various medical providers throughout Western New York. It is here that her passion for diabetes education began.  Melissa also has experience with weight loss, pediatric nutrition, heart health, pregnancy nutrition, and more.

 

Melissa’s primary focus for her patients is improving their overall health by guiding
and empowering them to make their own decisions to fit their individual lifestyles.


In her free time, Melissa enjoys traveling and spending time with her husband Todd, son Sammy, and rescue pup Bruno.
